Karalyn brings a social-work background and years of senior-living experience to every family she serves. She listens closely to what matters—care needs, personality, budget, location, and family priorities—then helps turn a confusing list of options into a thoughtful, manageable plan. As owner of Care Compass Advisors, she stays personally involved from the first conversation through tours, placement, move-in, and follow-up.

A Venice native, Charlyn Clements has spent the past decade helping seniors and their families navigate housing transitions throughout Sarasota County. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from the University of Central Florida and is both a licensed Realtor and licensed Community Association Manager. Charlyn also holds the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) designation through the National Association of Realtors.

As a Senior Placement Advisor with Care Compass, Charlyn helps clients evaluate independent living, assisted living, and memory care options based on their individual needs, preferences, and budget. She works closely with families throughout the placement process, from touring communities to coordinating a successful move.

In addition to senior placement, Charlyn provides comprehensive real estate services for clients who need to sell their home as part of their transition. She has built a trusted network of professionals specializing in senior moves, including estate sale companies, downsizing specialists, movers, contractors, attorneys, financial professionals, and other local resources. This allows her to guide clients through every step of the transition, from selecting the right senior living community to preparing and selling their home.
